Bio:
Henning Scholz is leading the Data Publishing Services team at the Europeana Foundation. This team is managing and developing the relationship with Europeana’s data partners to build the best trusted repository of cultural data in Europe. Henning holds a PhD in Palaeontology from the University of Würzburg and worked ten years for the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, e.g. as the coordinator of the EU funded project Biodiversity Heritage Library for Europe (BHL-Europe). Before joining the Europeana Foundation in 2012, he was closely collaborating with Europeana in other ways, e.g. as the Secretary of the Europeana Network and member of the Europeana Foundation Board.
